By downloading or using Periplous, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Periplous is a travel companion app that allows users to plan trips, generate AI-powered itineraries, share travel stories, and connect with other travellers.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at support@periplous.app
You retain ownership of content you post (stories, photos, trip notes). By posting, you grant Periplous a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your content within the app. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
You agree not to: • Post illegal, offensive, or harmful content • Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users • Use the app for commercial spam • Attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the app • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Itineraries, packing lists, and other AI-generated content are produced using Anthropic's Claude AI model based on your stated preferences. This content is provided for informational purposes only. Periplous makes no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, availability, or suitability of any suggested destinations, activities, prices, or services. Travel information can change at any time. Always verify independently before making travel decisions or bookings. Periplous is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
Certain features require a Premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.
The Periplous name, logo, and all app content (excluding user content) are the intellectual property of Periplous. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.
Periplous is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Use of the app is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Periplous is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including travel decisions made based on AI-generated content.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
